  • Additional CPU time = 2 * 3,200 * 0.2 = 1,280 hours
  • Total CPU time = 6,400 + 1,280 = 7,680 hours
R&D Innovation Support Program Based on High Performance Computing

The aims of this program are as follows :

  • Supporting great scientific research requires 5PF and higher resources

  • Supporting data-based research, such as artificial intelligence, and group research

  • Increasing research efficiency by supporting large scale computational resources

  • Expanding support for researchers who generate outstanding research results

Free resources are provided through the R&D innovation support program which is processed through the following steps: the call for applications, peer reviews, and announcement for the selected proposals. The program consists of strategic sections to solve various problems including massive computation, innovative research, national projects and so on. Resources are allocated according to the policy ruled in terms of the National High Performance Computing Promotion Plan.
